Some cookies contain a unique identifier, which can count as personal information. We also use similar technologies, such as your browser's session storage and local storage.
2. Types of cookies we use
2.1. Essential cookies
These are needed for the Site to work or to provide something you've asked for, such as remembering your cookie choices, so we don't ask for your consent to use them. You can block them in your browser settings, but parts of the Site may not work properly. Our chat assistant uses your browser's session storage, only once you open the chat, to keep your conversation open while you move between pages, along with the spelling and time zone detected for it. It is deleted when you close the tab. Once you send a message, a copy of the conversation is also kept in local storage for 24 hours after your last message, so it isn't lost if your browser reloads the page; clearing the chat deletes it. None of this is used for tracking. The chat assistant is powered by Claude, provided by Anthropic. Your messages are sent from our servers to Anthropic, so Anthropic does not set cookies or store anything on your device.
2.2. Performance & analytics cookies
With your consent, we use cookies to analyze how visitors use our Site, including which pages are most visited, how long users stay, and user interactions.
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is used for this purpose. GA4 collects information such as:

Time spent on each page
Device and browser type
Referring website
GA4 cookies are only set if you accept analytics cookies. GA4 uses identifiers stored in cookies, and Google may transfer this information to the United States. You can opt out of GA4 tracking using Google’s opt-out tool.
If you decline analytics cookies, we don't set any. Google Analytics still sends anonymous measurement data, such as page views and basic interactions, but nothing is stored on your device and no identifier is kept from one page to the next, so the data isn't linked to you. You won't appear in our reports as a returning visitor, and we can't see which pages you visited in a single session.

4. Emails
Our transactional emails, such as replies to enquiries, are sent using Mailchimp Transactional (Mandrill) and contain no tracking. Our newsletter is sent using Mailchimp. With your consent, given when you subscribe, it contains a tracking pixel and tracked links that show whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. You can stop this at any time by unsubscribing.
5. Managing cookies
You have the right to control or delete cookies. You can accept or reject analytics cookies at any time using Cookie Preferences at the bottom of any page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but disabling essential cookies may affect how the Site works.

6. Third-party cookies
