We accompanied the innovative fashion accessories brand in the launch of their eCommerce website by building an eCommerce Progressive Web App with Shopify and Contentful.

We built a fast and engaging Shopify eCommerce website thanks to our Progressive Web App expertise. This approach gave us full flexibility on the frontend and we used modern technologies to deliver subtle animations and interactions to enhance the user experience. The website leverages Shopify core eCommerce features (Catalog, Product Variants and Tags, Metafields, Promotions and Checkout) in conjunction with efficient interactions and an optimised basket popup.

3D animation

We developed a custom 3D bag animation for the homepage with an interactive rotating Stone Bag, Published By signature bag. One of the main challenges was to deliver an animation that renders well and fast on mobile without hindering performance. In order to deliver this, our engineering team performed a series of performance optimisations, including asynchronous rendering, generating SVG previews, image optimisations and javascript optimisations for a fast and dynamic mobile experience.
